School of Rock! Easter 2018 London Activities
For my Mum's Birthday, we went to London to see School of Rock, which is being shown at the New London Theatre, Drury Lane. Read on for our day in London, and review of the show! We travelled into London at about 10am on a Thursday in the Easter Holidays. My Mum works in a school meaning that any activities have to either be a weekend, or in the holidays. We live in Essex, so the train journey is roughly 45 minutes from our closest railway station. Usually travelling into London (without a railcard) costs nearly £30 return off-peak. We went to the ticket office instead off using the ticket machine (by chance) and they informed us that we could get a group discount as there were three of us travelling together which made our tickets £18 each return. This was jaw dropping news as travelling to London for us is crazily expensive.
