What a rollercoaster 2017 has been. It has been constantly busy, stressful and a mixture of emotions. As Kelly Clarkson says: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Well done for making it to the other side, give yourself a pat on the back!
Here are a few of my essentials for making the most of 2018. Lets make it the greatest one yet! Please comment anything I have missed - here's to the year of personal growth!

- Take every day as it comes. Wake up ready to grab anything it offers.
- Make your own luck! Put yourself in the right places with the right people to seize those opportunities and progress.
- Work hard, play harder. Bring in the money whilst working on yourself. You've only got one life so do your best to love it.
- Read more, learn more, experience more.
- Cook as much as possible from scratch. Example: Want a cake? Make it.
- If you want to go somewhere, do it! A change is as good as a rest... Use that time off work to adventure and explore.
- If it is worth the effort, put 110% into it.
- Get enough sleep to tackle the day.
- Worry less about others and more about yourself. It is okay to be selfish and give yourself that hug that you need.
- Cherish your loved ones, be thankful for every day you wake up and appreciate what you have around you.

- The start of the year involved five successful interviews and offers from five universities (ARU, UEA, Surrey, Suffolk and Hertfordshire). Pushed out of my comfort zone, pushed to my limits and ecstatically happy.
- Working as a proper manager taught me to manage people, money and situations. I met amazing people, worked through conflict, had an amazing summer season and came through the other side as a better person.
- After countless essay writing sessions until 3am, I finished my Extended Level 3 BTEC with Triple Distinction*, equivalent to 3 A*s at A Level!

Rhodes, July 2017 - I accepted my offers to ARU and Surrey, and chose ARU to study full-time BSc Paramedic Science at. I threw myself into the course and out of my shell, meeting lots of new people and being put in new situations and scenarios every day. Challenging socially, mentally and physically.
- I worked on relationships with my other half, parents and friends by allocating to them more time and attention. Treasure those most important to you as they are your everything when you have nothing.
- I travelled to France twice, Les Saisies and Val D'Isère, and to the Greek Island, Rhodes. Incredible experiences shared with those who mean the most to me!
